We’re here to help you

Know God

You were created to know God in a personal way—to have a
relationship with Him, through His Son, Jesus Christ.

Step 1

Realize that you are a sinner.

No matter how good a life we try to live, we still fall miserably short of being a perfect person. That is because we are all sinners. Romans 3:23  Sin simply means that we can’t measure up to God’s perfect standard of righteousness. The Bible says, “No one is good—not even one.” Romans 3:10 We cannot become who we are supposed to be without Jesus Christ.

Step 2

Realize that Jesus went to the cross for you.

The penalty for sin is death. But instead of giving that death verdict to us, Jesus suffered the most painful death for us that we might be forgiven by God. The  Bible tells us that “God showed His great love for us by sending Christ to die for us while we were still sinners.” Romans 5:8. This is the Good News, that God loves us so much that He sent His only Son to die in our place. Completely undeserved. So that you and I can stand before a Holy God.

Step 3

Make a U-Turn.

The Bible tells us, “Repent of your sins and turn to God, so that your sins may be wiped away.” Acts 3:19.  The word "repent" means to "change or reconsider". Instead of running from God, we can run toward Him. When we confess and repent, we are agreeing with God that we need His grace and forgiveness in our lives. Don't spend one more day running the wrong way...

Step 4

Ask Jesus to come into your heart.

Becoming a Christian is not merely believing some creed, it is not regular church attendance, it even isn't the faith that your parents handed down. It is having Christ Himself take residence in your life and heart. Jesus said, “Behold, I stand at the door and knock. If anyone hears My voice and opens the door, I will come in . . .” Revelation 3:20. If you would like to have a relationship with Christ, would you stop what you are doing and ask Him to do that right now?
Here at Community Country Church, we want to know if you've made that decision - it's the most important decision you will ever make. And we want to walk beside you as you live that out. We will get you a Bible if you don't have one, we will help you plug into a Bible Study group or ask a mentor to come along side you. The Christian walk is not designed to be done alone.

Step 5

Be Baptized.

You cannot be "good enough" to enter the Kingdom of Heaven. You must be, as Jesus instructed, "Born Again". John 3:3. When you accept Jesus Christ into your life as your personal Savior, the Holy Spirit immediately comes to dwell inside you. John 14:15-17. But believers also need the baptism of the Holy Spirit, see Acts 1:5-8. The Holy Spirit's role in the believer is to fill the believers mind with understanding of Truth, and helps the believer have the ability to do as Jesus has called them to do, and imparts gifts that are unique to the body of Christ.
