What should I do to grow in my faith?
God speaks to us through His word, the Bible. Through daily reading and studying of the Bible we become equipped for "every good work". 2 Timothy 3:16-17 says, "All Scripture is breathed out by God and profitable for teaching, for reproof, for correction, and for training in righteousness, that the man of God may be complete, equipped for every good work." 1
God also commands us to fellowship with other Christians. Hebrews 10:24-25 says, "And let us consider how to stir up one another to love and good works, not neglecting to meet together, as is the habit of some, but encouraging one another, and all the more as you see the Day drawing near." 1
Prayer is talking to God, our heavenly Father. We need him. And He wants to hear from us. It is right and good to bring your requests, concerns, thanks, and praise to God. Talk to God each day, silently, aloud, alone, or with other believers.
